Martha H (Friello) Quinlivan

Martha H. (Friello) Quinlivan, 77, of Rotterdam, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 13, 2017. Martha was born at home on Park Place in Schenectady to the late Anthony and Raffaele Schettine Friello. She was a housewife and mother. Martha was a member of St. Lukes’s Church, Martha’s Ministries, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary and was an avid bowler. She loved to play BINGO, take long car rides and traveling. Martha enjoyed having dinner outings and picnics with extended family and friends. But her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Martha is survived by her beloved husband of 45 yrs, Charles B. Quinlivan Jr., her children; Chad Quinlivan (Kim ), Eric Quinlivan, Kelly Quinlivan (Harold Olsmit), Mary Quinlivan- Gibbard (Kevin ) and Deidra Beagle, Ronald Martinez, her brother; John Friello (Kathy) and sister: Mary Friello and her 6 grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday morning at 8:15 am followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke’s Church. Burial will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
