Marlene M (Desieno) Grippo

Marlene M. (DeSieno) Grippo, 86 , of Rotterdam, lovingly entered into the arms of Our Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017. Marlene was born on July 24, 1931, the daughter of Steven and Jane Bylinski DeSieno. She was a lifelong resident of Schenectady and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. Marlene was employed by General Electric and Northeast Savings Bank where she enjoyed working as a secretary. In addition to her parents, Marlene was also predeceased by her husband, and best friend, Gabriel S. Grippo, who died in 2004. She is survived by her loving children; Timothy Grippo and David Grippo (Donna Brassard), her devoted sister; Elaine DeSieno (John) and brother; Steve DeSieno as well as several nieces and nephews. Marlene will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be private. In Marlene’s memory, donations may be made to Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208.
