Mark E Tate

Rotterdam - Mark E. Tate, age 56, residing in Rotterdam NY, passed Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Albany Medical Center after a two-week battle from Covid related complications. Mark was born October 2, 1964 in Hartford, Connecticut. Mark was most recently employed by Pepsico enjoying his work as a Tractor Trailer driver, but much rather preferred the comfort of his home with his family and his dog. Mark was a lover of many things. This included remote controlled airplanes, guns, golf, and cars. He enjoyed tinkering with his different tools and had a vast knowledge of mechanics thanks to his father. He was an avid collector but had a specific passion for Hot Wheels and craft steins. Mark had a special way of excelling at any and everything he put his mind to. He was the life of a party and had an infectious loud laugh. It will be missed. Mark was a loving husband of 30 years to Sharon Tate and an adoring father to Anthony Tate. Anthony and his wife Sarah are expecting their first child, also the first grandchild, in April. Mark is predeceased by his loving mother, Mary Tate and survived by his father, Everett Tate. There will be no services for Mark at this time.
