Rotterdam – Mark W. Ferguson, 65, passed away on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 with his daughter at his side. Mark was born in Albany and grew up in the Colonie area. He was the son of the late John Ferguson and Jane (Foster) Ferguson. Mark worked for many years as an electronics assembler at TransTech Systems Inc. In Mark’s younger years, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time up north on the Schroon River. He and several friends created Hello Mountain, a memorial for a departed friend and big “Hello” sign that is visible from the Northway around exit 24. Mark liked to listen to music and had a great sense of humor. Having Nerf wars with his grandkids brought him much joy. Besides his parents, Mark was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Ferguson in 2013. He leaves behind his children, Michael W. Ferguson (Kendall) and Nora L. Ferguson; their mother, Beverly Reedy; step-son, Michael Mosall (Grace); grandchildren, Anthony Mosall (Skylar), Tyler Ferguson and Emmett Ferguson; great grandchildren, Lydia and Russell VanWie-Mosall, as well as his siblings, Lee Burns (Roy) and Keith Ferguson (Rosanne). A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 8th at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
