Marjorie (Haner) Faber

Rotterdam – Marjorie L. Faber, 96, passed away Monday February 5, 2018. Born in Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Donald J. Haner Sr. and Laura Nixon. Marjorie worked in the office at the Carl Co. in downtown Schenectady before retiring and attended the Rotterdam United Methodist Church. Her husband, James Faber, passed away in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Faber. 2 sisters; Dorothy Burbank and Evelyn Hewitt. 1 brother; Robert Haner. Marjorie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Marjorie was predeceased by her brother, Donald J. Haner Jr.; sister, Joyce Haner, brothers and sisters-in-law; Alexander Faber, Sophie Faber and Marguerite (Franklin) Slater. Funeral services will begin 11 am Thursday at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A calling hour from 10-11 am will precede the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park.
