Marion Barron Lotano

ROTTERDAM - Marion Barron Lotano, 73, passed away suddenly on Sunday November 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. In 1966, she married Joseph V. Lotano, and in 1972 they moved to Rotterdam. Marion worked as a food service supervisor for the Mohonasen School District at Draper Middle School for 34 years. Above all else, Marion loved her family and her grandkids. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Maher Barron, and by four siblings.

Marion is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph V. Lotano; her children, Joseph (Lisa) Lotano, Laura (Joe) Patalino, and Sarah (Frank) Larkin; her grandchildren, Madison Lotano and Jack Larkin; her nine siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 16th from 5 to 7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by a funeral service at 7pm. She will then be privately cremated and an interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the ASPCA or to the Make A Wish Foundation.
