Mario J. Pace, 54 of Schenectady, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2015. Mario was born in Schenectady and was a graduate of Linton High School. Mario was a longtime, faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He went on many church bus trips from Mt.Carmel and will be fondly remembered for his videos of the trips. He would also video tape weddings and graduations for friends and family. Mario was an avid Yankee fan and loved listening to the "oldies". He is survived by his beloved mother, Carmelina Coppola, his brother; Biagio (Sharon) Pace of Galway and his sister; Josephine Longe of Schenectady, nieces and nephews; Jeremy Pace, Kevin Couture, Aaron Couture, Paul Couture, Caleb Longe, Nicholas Pace, Heather Pace and Kimberly Pace, his great niece and nephew; Julianna Pace and Jeremy Pace. Step family, sister, Rosa (Fred) Mastroianni; Elena Cusano, and Dominic Cusano; brother, the late Paul Coppola; nephews, Joseph Mastroianni, Paul Mastroianni, Roberto (Gregg) Mastroianni and Andy Cusano; nieces, Anna Cusano and Madalena Mastroianni and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Coppola family. Mario is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles both locally and in Canada. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 8:45 to 10:15 am at the Demarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Heldelberg Ave. followed at 11 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Community Mausoleum in Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mario's name to Our Lady of Mt.
