Marilyn Ann Vinciguerra

April 13, 1940 — December 18, 2025

Rotterdam

Marilyn Ann Vinciguerra “Grandma” passed away peacefully on Thursday December 18, 2025. Marilyn was a gentle soul with an infectious smile. She was very selfless and a beacon of light and hope. With that caring attitude she was proud to be called grandma by everyone.

Marilyn dedicated many years to the city clerks office of Schenectady, NY, where she was proud of her accomplishments. She was also a very proud member of the EDDY PACE program, where she had many fond memories with her friends.

Marilyn will be dearly missed by her family, daughters Beverly Gross, Annette Cooper, and Denise Cooper, her grandkids Douglas Scott, Jess Ward, and Todd Gross, and her siblings Anthony (Michelle) Vinciguerra, Evelyn Lessner, and Bernice (Jack) Dunn. She was predeceased by her son Michael Cooper, sister Janet Hoggins and parents Anthony Vinciguerra and Eva Vinciguerra.

In lieu of flowers we ask you to donate in Marilyn’s honor to your favorite pet rescue, as Grandma loved all her rescue fur babies. A celebration of life with friends and family will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam. Condolences can be posted at demarcostonefuneralhome.com.
