Marilyn A (Rose) Knowles

Rotterdam – Marilyn A. Knowles, 69, passed away on Thursday August 4, 2016. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Albert and Virginia Munson Rose. Marilyn lived her entire life in the Schenectady area. Marilyn will be remembered as always placing her family first and regarded her grandchildren as the light of her life. Her husband, Robert E. Knowles Sr., passed away in 2002. Marilyn is survived by her three loving children; Robert E. (Pamela) Knowles Jr. of Rotterdam, Larry (Jennifer) Knowles of S. Burlington, VT and Tina (Jeff) Tucker of Colchester, VT. Her six beloved grandchildren; Alaina, Derek, Gregory, Taylor, Jordan and Brooke. Her sister; Margaret Rose of Schenectady. She is also survived by a niece and nephew. A calling hour will be held Monday from 10-11 am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin at 11 am.
