Marie Sgarlata

Marie was born in Schenectady in 1934 a daughter of the late Stanley and Antoinette Pickney Czubernat. She was educated in local schools. Marie was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband Anthony predeceased her in 2011. Marie is survived by her son Mark (Sandee) her son in law Joseph Romano , her grandchildren Joseph Romano and Brandon Sgarlata and her cousin Joan (Ken) Robitaille. Marie was predeceased by her daughter Dana Romano and her brother Robert Czubernat. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Tuesday October 24, 2017 from 8 am to 10 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church Princetown Road Rotterdam. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Niskayuna.
