Marie G (Pepicelli) Maliszewski

Schenectady - Marie (Pepicelli) Maliszewski entered heavens gates on March 5, 2021 to be with our lord and her beloved husband Eugene. Born in Schenectady, New York, she was the daughter of Justin and Catherine Degennaro Pepicelli. Marie was employed by the Maqua Company in Schenectady, New York for several years prior to marrying Eugene Maliszewski on October 24, 1946. She was a devoted wife and mother and excellent homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She spent a great deal of her time reading which she enjoyed very much. The greatest joy of her life was her granddaughter Lauren. She always said the best times of her life were those spent babysitting her granddaughter and spending time with her as she grew up. Marie is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Jean Armstrong, her son-in-law Michael Armstrong, her granddaughter Lauren Ashley Armstrong of Rochester, New York and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Carolyn Pannone. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. Interment will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the excellent care Marie received while in their care.
