Maria C Tebano

Schenectady- Maria C. Tebano, 58, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Antonio Tebano and the late Rose Patierno Tebano. She has cherished over 30 years with her companion, Vancito George. She loved to dance, sing, and laugh, especially with her family. She will be fondly remembered as a kind and caring person. She always thought of others before herself, and would never forget a friend or relative’s birthday. She would often remind her younger siblings that she was the big sister and the oldest. She was dedicated to her faith and prayed every day. She is survived by her companion Vancito George, her two sons, her father Antonio Tebano, her siblings; Caterina Pratt, Vincent (Shelley) Tebano, and Rosanna Wildermuth, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She now joins in eternal life with her mother, Rose. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 3pm – 5pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant St. Schenectady, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville.
