Maria Pasquariello

Rotterdam - Maria Pasquariello, age 92, of Dolan Dr., Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Feb. 17th, 2023 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1930 in Caiazzo, Provincia Di Caserta, Italy, daughter of the late Celeste and Antoinetta (Mastroianni) Cervera and educated in schools in Italy. On July 23, 1953, she was united in marriage with Julius Pasquariello in Italy. He passed away in 2018. Maria was employed by Anna’s Alterations in Niskayuna. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her children, Angela Dominelli and husband Jim of Rotterdam, Julius Pasquariello of Rotterdam; a sister, Giovannina Sparano of Italy, two nieces and a nephew also in Italy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carmella Iannotti, in 2019. Memorial donations may be made in Maria’s name to St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd. Schenectady, 12303, or to the American Heart Association at heart.org/donate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Mrs. Pasquariello’s Mass of Christian Burial, commencing at 10am on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 from St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd., Schenectady. Procession will follow to Most Holy Redeemer, Niskayuna where entombment will take place. Calling hours will be private. The family would like to thank Maria’s wonderful caregivers who went above and beyond, Deborah Tomasek, Antoinette Mikropoulos and Holly Turnage and those who previously assisted with her care, Maria Kontakos, Maria Brown, Stacey Martin, Melanie Crowley and Cristina Micco.
