Maria Campagnano

ROTTERDAM - Maria Campagnano, 88, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Castel Campagnano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi Mone and Immacolata Audi Mone. Maria and her late husband Eugenio of 54 years came to the United States in 1976 to continue their journey. She was a homemaker and spent 24 years caring for her beloved son Luigi. Maria enjoyed praying, gardening and cooking. She was a faithful woman who loved God and was devoted to her family.

Maria is survived by three daughters, Maria Palma Tebano of Rotterdam, Tina and Pia Campagnano of Italy. She leaves behind ten grandchildren, Attilio (Cheryl) Tebano, Annalisa (Robert) Schraa, Dino (Makayla) Tebano and Tony Marletta, all of Schenectady, Stefano, Anna Maria, Monica, Matilda, Tiziana and Maria Pia, all of Italy; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.  She is survived by two sisters, Raffaele and Giuseppina Mone of Italy. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Eugenio, son, Luigi, son-in-law, Domenic Tebano, and grandson, Giuseppe Torone.

Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, on Friday March 8, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Princetown Road, Schenectady.
