Maria Concetta Audi (Tariello) 87, of Schenectady, died peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2013 after a short illness during her stay at Ellis Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Squille, Castel Campagnano, Italy, Maria moved to the United States in 1967 and settled in Schenectady. Maria first worked at the Bell Rod dress making factory and later at the Cheltingham Dress Factory. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Parish. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking throughout her life. Her greatest joy was her family. Maria was predeceased by her parents; Domenico and Antonietta Torone Tariello, her beloved husband of 53 years, Giuseppe Audi, who died in 2002 and her brother; Vincenzo Tariello who died in 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Mancino, and her husband Giacomo, of Schenectady, four grandchildren; Emilio Mancinoof Buffalo, NY,Francesca Mancino, Joseph Mancino and Marilena Mancino, all of Schenectady, her sisters Anna Tebano of Schenectady and Luisa Tariello of Benevento, Italy and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:15 am on Tuesday from the funeral home, followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum in Colonie.
