Margaret Maffeo

Schenectady- Margaret Maffeo, at rest, Monday, October 20, 2014. Margaret was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Antonio and Carmela (Solitano) Ligato. She was the Valedictorian of her class at Draper High School. Margaret enjoyed working as an Administrative Assistant at the General Electric Corporate Research and Development Center in Niskayuna until her retirement. Margaret was the beloved mother of Anthony J. Maffeo, Maxine Campbell, Marilyn Argenio, Pamela (Robert) Lacy and Cindy (Gregory Gantt) Maffeo; Loving grandmother of Cindy Cook and Melinda (Michael) Goldman, Stephen Jr. , Brenda and Mark Morris.; beloved great grandmother of Robert Cook and Eliza Goldman. Margaret is also survived by a nephew, Anthony Frederick Ligato. A service will be held 12noon Friday, October 24 at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam.
