Margaret Sanfilippo Madelone

MargaretSanFilippoMadelone Rotterdam, New York- MargaretMadelone, died at the age of 93. Born in Newark, New Jersey, on December 16. 1919, Margaret was the daughter of the late Phillipo and Antonia (Spadola) SanFilippo. Margaret and family moved to Amsterdam, New York where she was educated. She married James John Madelone, Sr. on June 29, 1941. Margaret was a homemaker. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late James John Madelone, Sr., who died in 2002; beloved mother of James John Madelone Jr. and his wife Judith (Robilatto) Madelone of Ballston Lake, New York; beloved sister of the late Salvatore, Albert, Rosario, Jennie SanFilippo, Mary Battaglia, Lena Brignole, and Angela (Julie) Madelone. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the third and second floor staff at Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia, New York for the wonderful care and compassion given Margaret. There will be no calling hours. All are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial 11am Friday, September 13 at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, Albany St., at Kings Road, Schenectady. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are request in Margaret's memory to American Heart Assoc./American Stroke Assoc. Founders Affiliate P.O.
