Margaret (Russo) Lucarelli

Schenectady- Margaret M Lucarelli, 92, formerly of Lydius Street passed away on January 26 2015 after a brief illness. She was born in Schenectady on August 17 1922 a daughter of the late Julio and Agnes Dorio Russo. Margaret was educated in local schools. Her family lovingly remembers her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to Louis J. Lucarelli who predeceased her in 1989. For many years she was employed at GE until her retirement. Margaret is survived by her daughter Joyce Keppel of Delanson, and her grandchildren Richard (Sherry) Sledziewski of Florida, Lisa, Jean,Andrea and Michael all of this area. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son; James Lucarelli, her daughter; Arlene, her son in law; Robert Keppel and her beloved dog Angel Boy. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Friday February 6, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 9:15 am at the funeral home. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St Madeleine Sophie Church Carmen Road Rotterdam. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery Kings Road Schenectady.
