Margaret Herrick Hyslop

Margaret Herrick Hyslop, of Schenectady, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012, she was 83. Born in Troy, NY, Margaret was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Allen Warner. She was a graduate of Troy High School. Margaret worked for many years at the former ALCO in Schenectady, General Electric, was a representative for Caroline Emmons Jewelry and was last employed in sales for Cherry Valley Monuments. Margaret was a member of the former Mont Pleasant Reformed Church and was an avid BINGO player. In addition to her parents, Margaret was also predeceased by two husbands, David E. Herrick , who died in 1973, Moses Hyslop, and her brother, Harold A. Wilson, who died in 1999. She is survived by her son David (Sharon) Herrick of South Carolina, four grandchildren, Dawn Showers, David Herrick Jr., Matthew E. (Hanna) Herrick and Amanda M. (Chad) Neal, nine great grandchildren and nephews Dennis (Michele) Wilson, Mark (Rosemaria)Wilson, her niece, Debra (Jeff) Daniels and 2nd husband, George A. Varin. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9:30am - 11am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Troy, NY.
