Margaret R. Hassett

SCHENECTADY- Margaret Rose Fatato Hassett, 74 passed away Saturday, August 26th after a long illness. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Peter Fatato and late Margaret Polimeni Fatato.

She was a 1967 graduate of Linton High School and went on to work in various administrative positions including the NYS Department of Tax and Finance.

Her favorite past times were crocheting, bowling, cuddling with her dogs, and Days of Our Lives.

Margaret sold Avon for over 20 years where she made lifelong friends. She will forever be remembered as wonderful mom, a loving wife and a friend to everyone.

She is survived by her husband Bertram Hassett, her daughter Gail Wiltsie (John), her sons Michael Todtschinder (Sandra) and Kurt Todtschinder, her beloved grandchildren Michael Todtschinder Jr, Victoria Todtschinder and Collin Wiltsie, her brother Mark Fatato (Patricia) and many more loving family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11 am and may also visit with her family prior to the service from 10-11 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam.
