Margaret "Peggy" (Niedhammer) Dickey

Glenville – Margaret “Peggy” A. Dickey, 83, passed away at home on Tuesday December 18, 2018. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of Edwin and Olive Zukowski Niedhammer. Peggy graduated from Draper High School and was a lifelong Schenectady area resident. She was a collector for Ellis Hospital retiring in 1998. Peggy loved her family and friends deeply and will be greatly missed. She is survived by 2 daughters; Elizabeth Sweet of Scotia and Karen (Bryan) Kopa of Denton, NC. 2 brothers; Edwin Niedhammer of Schenectady and Robert (Lillian) Niedhammer of Florida. Peggy is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband James and her brother Bernard “Mickey” Niedhammer. At Peggy’s request services will be private.
