Marcia Lee (Phillips) Repice

Schenectady-Mrs. Marcia Lee Repice, age 74 of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2015 at the Joan Nicole Prince Home, Scotia. She was born on January 14, 1941 in Schenectady, daughter of the late James and Marion (Dunlavy) Phillips.She was educated in Schenectady schools and attended Mildred Elley business school.After a brief employment at KAPL, she took wonderful care of her family and home for 53 years.Marcia loved to garden, her beautiful flowers and landscaping were an annual display.She took such pride and care in decorating her house into such a welcoming home.She was also an avid Red Sox baseball fan.Marcia was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church. Survivors include her loving family; her husband, George of Schenectady; her children, Michele Repice Straight and husband Darryl of Brunswick, Sheila Hotaling and husband Scott of N. Adams MA, Gregory Repice of Glenville, and Christopher Repice and wife Kristin of Camillus NY; two grandchildren, Katrina Hotaling and Emma Repice; several nieces and nephews including Frank Campanella and Marie Banewicz. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Mass of Christian Burial commencing at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2015 from St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 2216 Rosa Road, Schenectady with Rev. Robert Longobucco, pastor officiating .Procession will follow to Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna where she will be laid to rest. There are no calling hours.Kindly consider memorial offerings to Community Hospice or the Joan Nicole Prince Home.Arrangements are by R.J. Deluccia Funeral Service.
