Marc D. Abbatiello

SCHENECTADY - Marc D. Abbatiello, 46, passed away unexpectedly due to an ongoing heart condition on Thursday January 4, 2024. He was born at Bellevue in Niskayuna on January 24, 1977 and graduated from Schalmont High School in 1995. Marc worked at Golub Corp as a selector for over 20 years. His whole life was about his son, Nicholas, spending time with him, going hiking and riding bikes together. Marc loved his guinea pigs, his Pontiac grand prix, going to car shows, being outdoors, and riding four wheeler. He was big into health and fitness, working out, cooking healthy workout meals, and was a wrestler in school, having held the record for the fastest pin time. Marc was predeceased by his brother, Michael D. Abbatiello and his mother, Deborah Pasquaiello Needham.

Marc is survived by his father, Michael A. (Philomena) Abbatiello; his son, Nicholas A. Abbatiello and Nick’s mother, Desiree Bowers; his step-father, Dennis Needham; his sister Kimberly (Phil) Quindara; his nephews, Michael James Abbatiello and Jayden Quindara; his niece, Katelynn Quindara; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
