Magdaline (Sawitzki) Pietzykowski

Schenectady- Magdaline (Sawitzki) Pietzykowski, 92, passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2016 Magdaline was born in Broadalbin, NY and worked at GE where she met and married her husband of 61 years, Walter Pietzykowski. Magdaline enjoyed playing bingo, listening to polish music and most of all her daily visits with great grandchildren. Magdaline is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Alan) Richmond and Marie Pietzykowski, her granddaughters; Lisa Richmond and Stephanie (Gary)Wusterbarth and her beloved great grandchildren, Claire and Ryan Wusterbarth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Walter, she was predeceased by her son Phillip Pietzykowski and her daughter Joann Acevedo as well as her brothers and sisters In keeping with Magdaline's wishes there will be no calling period. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday May 2, 2016 at 11:30 am at St Adalbert's Church Schenectady. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery Carmen Road Schenectady.
