Lucy (Izzo) Marx

Rotterdam- Lucy Marx, 94 of Evans Road passed away peacefully on August 12 2015 surrounded by her beloved family. Lucy was born in Schenectady in 1920 a daughter of the late James and Josephine Cuomo Izzo. She was educated in local schools. Her family lovingly remembers her as a devoted wife mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Lucy was a communicant of Our Lady Queen Parish. She is survived by her children James Marx , Barbara Marx, Mary Ann (Brian) Flouton ,Harry (Ginny) '˜Butch" Marx ,Phillip '˜Skip" Marx all of Rotterdam Edith "Edie"(Richard) Kietlinski of Princetown and Nancy (Rick) Rorick of Pattersonville17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Harry Marx one brother and two sisters. Calling hours will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 14, 2015 at am.Interment will follow at St Cyril Cemetery Duanesburg Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady.
