Lucille T (Adams) Giardono

Rotterdam – Lucille T. Giardono, 69, passed away Thursday August 2, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. Born in Rotterdam she was the daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Adams. Lucille was a 1966 graduate of Schalmont High School and she spent her life raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Nicholas Giardono whom she married on January 29, 1967. Her children; Corinne (Bill) Miller, Barbara Giardono LaViolette, Nicholas Giardono, Lori (Derek) Giardono and daughter-in-law Tiffany. Grandchildren; Kayla, Billy, Sarah, Trevor, Nicholas, Lucas and Layla. Siblings; Michael (Linda) Adams, Barbara (Gary) King and Arlene (David) Connell. The family extends their special thanks to Dr. William Tetreault, Dr. Thomas Goodman and staff and for the wonderful care she received from St. Peter’s Hospice and to her best friend & caregiver, Maggie Teater. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 pm.
