Louise Gorzynski

ROTTERDAM - Louise Gorzynski, 94, passed away on Friday February 2, 2024 at home with her family at her side.

Louise was born in Sicily, Italy on August 11, 1929 and came to the United States in 1947. She married Sigmund Gorzynski in 1949, however he passed away at only 29 years old. Louise solely raised her four daughters and her first granddaughter. She leaves five daughters to celebrate the wonderful life she gave us; Diana Carr, Deborah DePaolo, Darlene (Daniel) Miller, Denise Miller and Tonia Gorzynski. Louise is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and her extended family April LaFountain and William Puliafico, many nieces and nephews. She had a green thumb and loved her garden and her seeds.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday February 6, 2024 at 11 am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 210 Princetown Rd. Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family from 9- 10:30 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam. Interment will be in Sts.
