Louise G Diamante

Schenectady- Louise Genevieve Diamante, 100, formerly of Curry bush Road passed into eternal life on January 28 2015. Louise was born on December 26 1914 in Schenenectady the daughter of the late Gennaro and Antoinette Padricelli. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School withhigh honors studying such subjects like Latin and Russian. Louise managedthe business section of her husband's Mario (Mert) Diamante's Auto Body on Guilderland Ave. She cooked every meal for 72 years for her family, sewed clothes, chair covers, drapes, knit sweaters shopped and cleaned. The focal point of her busy life was going to church and praising the Lord faithfully all her life. Louise is survived her beloved daughter Nancy (Diamante) Stinney of Kingston her granddaughter Louise Harris of Texas her grandson David Diamante her great grandson Kevin Dewayne Harris her sister Santa Zadoorian and her sister in law Susan Diamante and many friends and extended family nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her husband Mario (Mert) Diamante and her son Mario Leo Diamante Jr her brother Nicole Padricelli and her sister Mary Cuomo. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Tuesday February 3 2015 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday morning at the funeral home at 8:15 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am at St Paul the Apostle Church Kings Road Schenectady.Interment will be private.
