Rotterdam- Louis J. Natorella, 96, formerly of Fort Hunter Road passed away peacefully on December 30, 2016 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady in 1920, he was a son of the late Adam and Raffaella Cataria Natorella. Louis served in the United States Army during WWII in the 12th Armored Division. After the war he was employed with Exxon Mobil Oil as a tanker driver, retiring after 32 years of service. He was a lifelong area resident. He enjoyed traveling and visited many countries around the world and saw most of the U.S. He was a member of several golf and bowling leagues and loved watching the NY Yankees. He was a communicant of St Madeleine Sophie’s Church. Louis is survived by his beloved daughter Shirley Kilmer, three beloved grandchildren Scott (Linda) Troia of Long Island, Melissa Troia of Burnt Hills and Ted Troia of Halfmoon, two great grandchildren Nicholas and Angelina and several nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Angelina Altieri Natorella in 2007 and four siblings Felice Barbarulo, Anthony Natarella Sr. Mary Parker and Mario Natorella. Family and friends may call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services will begin at 10:45 am at the funeral home on January 4, 2017. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am at St Madeleine Sophie’s Church 3500 Carmen Road Interment will follow at St Joseph's Cemetery KIng's Road Schenectady.
