Rotterdam - Lois ‘June’ McMaster, 88, passed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 after long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Buffalo, NY, to Louis and Frances (Decarlo) Teresi. June was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, E. Keith McMaster and five sisters. June graduated from Lafayette High School in Buffalo and later in life attended Schenectady Community College. She had a long career with GE retiring in 1998. June was an avid bowler and golfer, belonging to several leagues. Although not a serious golfer, she once achieved a hole- in-one for which she was the only one who was unimpressed. That was the spirit of June not extolling her own accomplishments but instead focusing on family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her Grandchildren all have fond memories of family gatherings at her home on Saratoga Lake and the special moments of time spent together boating, swimming and crafting. Affectionately known as “Candy-Gram” you could always count on Swedish Fish and other goodies for a special treat. She was an accomplished crafter and artist, activities she continued to enjoy. Even as June'sdisease progressed her kind loving spirit never diminished. Her sweet and good natured personality touched all that she encountered. She is survived by a son and two daughters, Brian McMaster (Cara), Kathleen Kulbako (Edward) and Donna O’Connor (Larry), 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one great grandchild. Our family would like to offer a special thanks to her long-time caregivers and companions Regina and Tracy. Also, would like to thank the wonderful staff at Community Hospice for their support. A private family service will be held at a later date.
