Greenfield Center - Laurie LinneMcKay- Austin ,53, of Sand Hill Road Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on May 20 , 2016. She was born in Syracuse NY daughter of A. David And Lynn C. McKay. Laurie was raised in the Mariavillearea and was a 1980 high school graduate of Schalmont High School. She was an avid horse lover , owner, and a very gifted rider. Her favorite horse wasnamed Bandit. Laurie is lovingly remembered by her familyand friends as a devoted daughter, sister,mother,grandmother andaunt. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her twoadored grandchildren. Laurie is survived by her daughters Robin Kristen (Ricky) Romines of Schenectady and Katie Jean Teal of Schenectady her two grandchildren Kaylee and Madison and her mother and step fatherLynn and Roger Howard of Venice Fl and her sister Robin (Dan) Ross of Pattersonville and her nephew David Durante of Schenectady. Laurie was sadly predeceased by her husband Gary Austin on April 22, 2016 and her father A. David McKay.
