Larry A Bessey

A kind and caring man, Larry A. Bessey, 53, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Larry was born in Keene Valley, NY. He attended Keene Central High School, and later graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed as a Truck Driver with Sysco Foods in Clifton Park. Larry was an extra ordinary man who was always there to lend a hand to anyone whenever they called. He always put others before himself with no questions asked. His favorite hobbies included fixing lawnmowers, snow blowers and anything with an engine. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and special friend to all who knew him. He will be truly missed. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Frances Denton Bessey. Larry is survived by his loving companion and wife of 13 yrs, Dia Bessey, two daughters, Alyssa Bessey, who was his world, of Clifton Park and Kaitlyn (Sam) Cuddeback of Clifton Park, three brothers, David Bessey of Clifton Park, Albert (Kim) Bessey of Mesa, Arizona, and Roy (Shelly) Bessey of Ballston Spa, as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-5 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 5 pm.
