Kristine Palluti-Gnidowski

Rotterdam - Kristine was received into Heaven on January 22nd, 2024.

She was born in Long Island, NY on October 28th, 1963 to the late Barbara (Graham) and Kenneth Muller. In her teenage years, her family moved to their beloved farm in Richmondville, NY where she developed her love for and shared many fond memories of growing, gardening, and providing alongside her mother.

She lived most of her adult life in Rotterdam, building her family and her businesses and more recently in Wells, NY on beautiful, peaceful Lake Algonquin.

In 1991, Kristine and her husband, Michael began their journey, opening Kristine’s Bakery in Guilderland, where they spent many years perfecting their craft alongside one another.

In 2000, Kristine and Michael opened Nikki P’s Pizza Deli Bakery in Rotterdam. For the last 24 years, Kristine was our fearless leader, a true staple of the community, she took so much pride in her work and providing for all who walked through the doors. Kristine was truly selfless and her generosity endless, donating to many charities, schools, and churches, you never went without if she was in your life.

With a beautiful eye for detail, she was a woman of many talents and could bring any of her creative visions to life through design and renovation. She was passionate about her faith, always praying for her loved ones and sharing notes of gratitude. She loved to sing and dance, spend weekends with her home filled with friends at the lake and you could always count on her to bring you in for one of her warm hugs and a big smile. Kristine touched every heart she came across and befriended people in every corner of life, spanning generations, and welcoming everyone as a sister, friend and mother.

Above all else her true passion in her life was her family, she loved like no other.

Left to love and cherish her memory are her husband, Michael, her adored daughter; Nicole (Palluti) Crandall with son in law Jeffrey, her whole heart; her son Ryan Gnidowski, and dear son Michael Gnidowski Jr. The loves of her life, Grammy’s girls, Ava Elizabeth and Addison Grace and her special Haley Miranda.

She also leaves behind countless immensely close friends who she loved as her own family.

Kris was the heart and soul of our family and will be deeply missed and forever carried in our love.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 31st from 4-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kristine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
