Kenneth A. Ehrcke Sr.

Glenville – Kenneth A. Ehrcke Sr., 70, passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 9, 2023. Born in Niskayuna he was the son of Charles and Betty (Morley) Ehrcke.

Ken enjoyed traveling, playing golf and was a volunteer fireman for Thomas Corners Fire Department for 36 years serving Glenville from 1987-2023. Ken worked at General Electric small appliance division and Evergreen Commons Nursing Home before retiring as a programmer for Fire, Security & Sound Systems in Latham.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Hotaling) Ehrcke.

His two children Michelle and Kenneth A. (Jackie) Ehrcke Jr.

His sister Sharon (Dug) Jackson.

Ken is also survived by his five grandchildren Michael, Keyera, Jaden, Jordan and Jax.

Along with his parents Ken was predeceased by his brother David Ehrcke.

A Memorial Service, will be held 11 am Saturday October 28th at Faith United Methodist Church 811 N. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady.
