Kathryn A. "Katie" Boniewski

ROTTERDAM – Kathryn A. “Katie” Boniewski, 37, passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 27, 2024. She was born in Schenectady on May 17, 1986 to Chester Boniewski and the late Deborah McCabe Boniewski. After graduating from Mohonasen High School, Katie became a pharmacy technician and worked at various pharmacies, including CVS in Rotterdam. She enjoyed being a vendor at craft fairs, having a booth selling desserts and cakes. She loved doing specialty order cakes for friends and family. Katie also enjoyed camping, fishing, shooting, traveling to the Outer Banks, and loved spending time with her nieces.

Katie is survived by her father, Chester Boniewski; her sister, Sarah Keppler; her nieces, Hayley, Allyson, and Emma; Diane Chrysler; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Katie has been privately cremated. Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 6th from 4 to 6pm, followed by a service at 6pm, at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam.
