Karen J (Bonin) Gayle

Karen J. Gayle, 64, of Schenectady, died suddenly at home on Monday, February 13, 2017. Karen was born in Middletown, NY, the daughter of the late Herb and Frances Boyce Bonin. She was employed as a manager with the Christmas Tree Shops in Colonie for the past 10 years. She enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts, and especially loved frogs. Karen is survived by her husband Harold L. Gayle, her sister; Lynda D’Ambrosi, her niece; Michele Haga, nephew Louis D’Ambrosi, numerous relatives, friends and co-workers who will miss her vibrant personality. Karen’s beautiful spirit and bountiful love for life will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate to have met her. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. with a funeral service beginning at 8 pm.
