June Attanasio

Schenectady - June Attanasio was born on February 12, 1937 to the loving parents Angelina and Frederick Mongrella in Nutley, New Jersey. She leaves behind a son John Attanasio, and three grandchildren Sarah, Matthew, and Jacob. Her death on Saturday, December 13 was after a long sickness and painful surgery. June was married to Louis Attanasio and was a stay-at-home mother and caregiver for the majority of her life. All the while maintaining friendships and ties to family within the Schenectady area. She enjoyed entertaining friends with food and card games, cooking, playing bingo, and enjoying classical movies and listening to live performances. June will be missed dearly as she rests in peace at St. John's cemetery in Schenectady.

A Mass of Christian burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be celebrated 11 am Saturday January 24th at St. Luke’s Church 1241 State St., Schenectady.
