Julius Pasquariello

Julius Pasquariello, 88, of Rotterdam, passed peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018. Born in Caiazzo, Caserta, Italy, Julius was the son of the late Antonio and Angelina DeBiase Pasquariello. He emigrated to the United States in 1947and lived in Buffalo, NY working at Bethlehem Steel for several years while going to school. Julius joined the US Army in 1951 and was honorable discharged in 1953. After moving to Schenectady in 1957, Julius began his career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. where he worked as a sales agent and sales manager until he retired in 1995. He then worked part time until 2006. Julius was an avid reader. He was a member of the Schenectady Kiwanis, Rotterdam Sons of Italy and Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He leaves his beloved wife of 64 years, Maria Cervera Pasquariello and two children; Angela (James) Dominelli of Rotterdam and Julius A. Pasquariello also of Rotterdam as well as many loving friends. Calling hours will be private. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, 10 am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church 3500 Carman Rd. in Guilderland. Entombment will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. Julius’s family would like to thank Dr. William Tetreault and Dr. Sulagna Mookherjee for the compassion and care they gave Julius and the family during his illness. Also, the family wishes to thank the following nurses for their support of our husband and father; Caroline Lupi, Maria Brown, Maria Kontakos and Stacey Martin.
