Joseph R Olsheski

Rotterdam- Joseph R. Olsheski, 66, passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2013. He was the son of Anna Olsheski of Avoca PA. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He joined GE upon graduation where he was employed in the Steam Turbine Department until retirement. He was a scout master of Troop 32 for many years.TheEagle scouts flourished under Joe's leadership. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club and the Elfun Society. He was a passionate golfer who loved playing with his loyal friends. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all. However, cherished memories last forever. Joe is survived by his devotedwife of 44 years Beverly, two sons,David of Loveland Colorado and Paul and Melissa of Wesley Chapel Florida. He is also survived by his sister Theresa and Ronald Orlosky Duryea Pa and his niece Denise and Mark Ludwikowski of Clark Summit Pa. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Joshua, Jordan, Josie and Logan and his great nieces Lauren and Leah. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco- Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Wednesday November 20, 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday November 21, 2013 at St. Gabriel's Church Rotterdam. Interment will be private in the family cemetery in Pa. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations maybe made to St Gabriel's Church Rotterdam.
