Joseph M Mudrey

Joseph M. Mudrey, 66, passed away on January 8, 2021 due to Covid-19. Born on July 17, 1954 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late John and MaryLouise Mudrey, and step-son to Frank Sisto. Joe and his family moved to New York at an early age. He was a graduate of Schalmont High School and was a volunteer at South Schenectady Fire Department at one time. His passions were cheering on the New York Yankees, collecting model cars and baseball caps, and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents, aunts, uncles, and his sister-in-law, Susan Mudrey. He is survived by his brother, Larry Mudrey of Massachusetts, his sister, Anne (Richard) Snyder, of Rotterdam, his step-sister Frances (Jack) Gilson, his cousins; Lisa (Bill) Wilczak, Sue (Frank) Kuchis, Ed Cook, his nieces; Sarah (Chris) Eberly, Danielle (Kevin) Gill, Jessica (Ryan) Nicklaw, step-nieces; Jen (Steve) Gilson, Courtney (Victor) Pierce, Jaques (Ronald) Gilson, great nephew, Alexander Eberly, great niece Olivia Nicklaw, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no services at this time. A memorial mass will take place at a later date. Joe’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caseworkers, nurses, and acquired friends at Baptist Health for their care and friendship while Joe was there.
