Joseph T Knightes

Schenectady/Guilderland, NY-Joseph "Big Joe" Timothy Knightes, Sr., age 55, passed away Friday, December 4th, 2016. He was born November 30, 1960 in Schenectady, New York to Donald and Laura Knightes. He was a graduate of Guilderland High School. He was a current employee with National Grid, where he had been employed for 32 years. Mr. Knightes is survived by his daughter, Audrey Knightes. He is predeceased by his son Joseph T. Knightes, Jr. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Madisyn Knightes Kowalchyk; his siblings Bonnie Baldauf, Diane Knightes, Andrew Knightes and Donald Knightes, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Shaun and Justin Baldauf, Andrew Knightes, Jr., and Michelle and Morgan Knightes. He will be remembered as a great fan of horse racing and Saratoga Race Track, and for his love of the New York Jets, Giants and Yankees. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter Madisyn.
