Rotterdam – Joseph Chinski, 98, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. Born in Schenectady he was the son of Joseph F. and Helen Chinski. Joe served our country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He then went on to work at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady for over 40 years before retiring. His wife Marjorie passed away in 2016. He is survived by his five children Ron Chinski, Cindy Sindoni, Joe Chinski, Michael Chinski and Pam Hoffman. A calling hour will be held Friday from 12-1 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Burial with military honors will follow at Park Cemetery, Scotia.
