John P Della Rocco

John P. Della Rocco 91 passed away at home surrounded by his friend and family. He was a son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Squelia) Della Rocco. He was employed in fiance at GE for 37 years and was a member of the Ge Quarter Century Club. He served in the US Army During WWII and assisted in the invasion of the Guadlcanal He was a member of the DAV Chapter 88 and the American Legion Post 1002. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Livia(Mammarella) sons Paul of MA and John of Schenectady, grandchildren Jonathan Della Rocco of NJ granddaughter Alian A Ming Della Rocco of MA. A graveside service with full military honors will be heldon Monday June 302014at 10 am at St Cyril Cemetery Duanesburg Road .
