John Alexander Ferguson

Guilderland - John Alexander Ferguson, born 1923 in Puerto Rico, has died at the age of 89, on Saturday September 7, 2013. He was an electrical engineer with a P.E. for the State of New York in the office of General Services for 41 years. John served in the Army during WWII for 2 ½ years in the Pacific Theatre. He is survived by Charlotte, his wife of 59 years and four children; Juanita, Cristina, John and Melissa. Five grandchildren, two siblings; Margaret and William along with eleven nieces and nephews. He will be waked at St. Madeleine Sophie Church 3500 Carman Rd. on Monday September 16, where he has been a parishioner since 1954, from 9-10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Saints Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Rt. 7.
