John J Duchesne

Schenectady- John J. Duchesne passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born and raised in Manhattan, NY, the city he loved. John was a Master Electrician, an IT Tech, and a Field Engineer before his retirement. His work brought him north to the Capital District. With a natural talent as an electrician as well as a woodworker, John could build or repair almost anything. He could often be found working on computers. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his beloved partner, MaryLou Skibinski, his step children; Nikki (Sean) Andrews, and J-P Tomasek, his granddaughter, Jordyn Andrews, his brothers; John (Linda) Skibinski and Steven (Diane) Skibinski, his sister, Lorraine (Mark) Mohrhoff, his loving nieces, nephews, grand niece, and grand nephews, as well as many close friends. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother. Calling hours will be held this Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 3pm-6pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady, NY 12306.
