John D'Orazio Jr

Rotterdam – John D’Orazio Jr., 73, passed away Thursday April 13, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Eminence, NY, he was the son of John and Maria DiGiacomo D’Orazio Sr. From 1965-67 He served our country in the United States Army. John went on to graduate from the GE Apprentice Program as a machinist retiring in personnel after 36 years of service in 2006. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan Patterson D’Orazio. His son, Joseph (Susan) D’Orazio of Bradenton, FL. His two granddaughters, Olivia Grace & Sophia Hope. John is also survived by his brother, Nino D’Orazio of Dagsboro, DE. along with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Heldeberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 8:45 am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace. Burial with military honors will follow at Summit Cemetery.
