Schenectady - On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Jessica Lindsay Trifilo, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and loving partner died unexpectedly as a result of a tragic accident. She was 41 years old. Born to David Trifilo and Linda McCabe, Jessica graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a degree in Communications, where she was able to pursue her passion for photography. A graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and longtime resident of Scotia, Jessica had a radiant smile, a beautiful personality, a big heart and she always managed to find good in everyone she met. Her caring nature led her to become a volunteer and also work at the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia, where she loved caring for those who were in their final days, helping to bring them comfort and peace. She was also a dedicated fundraiser on behalf of the Joan Nicole Prince Home. She had a strong passion for helping those with mental illnesses. Jessica shared her brilliant love abundantly with her family and friends and also with her toy poodle, Bina who she cared for deeply and adored greatly. Jessica was also a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School in Schenectady where she got her Cosmetology License. She is survived by her father David Trifilo, mother Linda McCabe, stepfather Michael McCabe, sister Amanda Cantore (Mathew Cantore), niece Valerie Cantore, nephew Max Cantore and her soulmate David Costanzo and his twin daughters Adele and Alex Costanzo, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, Jan. 8th at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam and services will held be at 10 am on Monday, Jan. 9th, also at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home in Rotterdam with the Rev. Rick Cobello, officiating. Interment will follow at Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam.
