Rotterdam - Jeffrey C. Lupi Sr., 61, of Rotterdam, passed away unexpectantly at home on Tuesday. He was born on December 31, 1952 to the late Carmine and Edith (Riccardi) Lupi. Jeff graduated from Draper High School in 1970 and was a lifelong Rotterdam resident. He worked several years at General Electric in Schenectady and then became self employed until his retirement. He was a long time member of the Rotterdam Elks lodge #2157, where he was a past officer and house chairman. Jeff enjoyed working on major projects for the Elks. His favorite was the haunted house where he transformed into "Frankenstein". Jeff enjoyed cooking for everybody and spending time with his family. He always enjoyed making people laugh with his "unique" sense of humor. Jeff is survived by his children; Pam (Veronica) Hickok of Ballston Spa and Jeffrey (Tanya) Lupi of Schenectady. His grandchildren; William, Austin, Schuylar, Amber and Jared. Siblings; Deborah (Tom) Merritt and David (Pam) Lupi. Jeff is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog, Tyson. Along with his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Jamacy (3/25/07). Calling hours will be held Monday from 4-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 8:15 am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. Cyril's Cemetery.
