Jeffrey M. Hiscock

Albany – Jeffrey M. Hiscock, 53, passed away at home on Wednesday November 29, 2023 following a long battle with cancer. Born in Watertown, NY he was the son of Ramon and Florence (McKenna) Hiscock.

Jeff graduated from APW High School in 1988.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from SUNY Potsdam in 1992.  He was employed by SI Group as a chemist since 1994.  He enjoyed golf, classic movies and TV, and an occasional beer.  Jeff was an avid fan of Syracuse football and basketball, the New York Giants and the New York Mets.  He was also a charter member of the CDFL fantasy football league and a long-time member of LM&G golf league.

Along with his parents he is survived by his brothers Steven (Michelle) and Jim (Crystal), nieces Kelsey, Hope, and Lauren, and nephew Ryan.

Calling hours will be held Friday December 8th from 4-6 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam.

A 6 pm service will immediately follow.

Burial will be in the spring in Orwell Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell, NY.  It will be followed by a celebration of life at a place and time to be determined.
