Jeanette M. Thoneman

ROTTERDAM- Jeanette M. Thoneman passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Schenectady on December 22, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Stephen P. Villano, Sr. and Adeline (DeCarlo) Villano.

Jeanette was married to the love of her life Robert Thoneman until his passing in 2012. She was the mother of the late Maria Carlino Heise and Mark Villano.

Jeanette worked for Northland Transportation in Glenville, driving a school bus for many years before retiring. She loved going out to play BINGO with her family and friends. Jeanette is survived by her loving grandchildren Anthony Marra, Stephen Marra, Tina Founier, Lisa Villano, and Maria Roberts. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, husband and children, she is predeceased by her siblings, Stephen P. Villano Jr., Edward A. Villano and her nephew Robert S. Villano.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:15 am in the DeMarco-Stone 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with Jeanette’s family prior to her service at the funeral home from 9:30 am to 11:15 am. Interment will be at 1pm in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
